manage multiple venues and retain control from a central location. To find the
right solution it sometimes requires answers to the following questions;
How big are the external venues? (How many POS Terminals and do they
require backup kitchen printing and integrated EFTPOS transaction processing?)
Is inventory management and purchasing being controlled at the remote
venues or at the main venue?
Is retail pricing managed centrally of individually at each venue?
In the main venue open for the same hours as the remote venues or is it
just open office hours?
Do customers require their accounts balances and loyalty points to be
transparent over all venues. Because of geographic locations it may suit better
to have their own loyalty and promotions at each venue?

Dial-up Modem on a daily basis where the main venue retrieves the
sales data and updates the external venues with new products or pricing. (low
cost option)
The external venues manage their own pricing and POS Management/Reporting
software and transfers the sales data to the main venue via a dial-up or
ADSL internet connection via FTP on a daily/weekly basis.
The POS Terminals are permanently connected to the Central Office via an
ADSL internet connection and the reporting back to the individual stores is
also via the Internet.
The external venues use the
net-validation software to run a centralized
Member Loyalty, Member Debit/Credit solution.
