Net-Validation Interface to Central Office
The Net-Validation application has the ability to transfer sales data from remote stores back to a central office in real time. You can maintain a central database of Customer Accounts and Membership Loyalty and this information can be available from any of the remote sites. It will run over a standard Internet connection and does not require complicated security settings and virtual private networks to operate in a secure way.
Your data files are not connected directly to the Internet so there is no security risk.

How Net-Validation Works
When a Member swipes their card at the POS Terminal the Member Validation process retrieves the Member's name, price level and current points from the central office via the Internet or a local connection to the server. The same applies if the operator requests an account balance or does an account charge at the POS. Member Validation will request the Account Name, current balance and credit limit from the central office via the Internet or a local connection to the server. It normally happens in approx
.2 seconds or less which is much quicker than most EFTPOS transactions.
When the sale transaction has been completed
the
sales file is transferred to the central office via the Net-Validation application where it is processed within
10 seconds and the customer's account balance and loyalty points are
adjusted accordingly.
This system can work with dial-up internet connections as well as
ADSL connections as the data volumes are very small and create very
little network traffic.
